    We did barely manage to get up in time for the Gypsy Day parade Saturday in Aberdeen. It turned out that it would be fairly decent weather-wise as the day would progress. We caught most of the bands and there were some really impressive ones. Edmunds Central School’s band looked and sounded good. Ipswich had other commitments that day and could not attend.     Ipswich won the battle of the Tigers last Friday in Ipswich to pick up a huge 49-18 Gala Day win over the Dupree Tigers. The IHS Tigers would rush for 293 yards and pass for 157 more yards with a balanced offensive attack.     Ipswich attended a high school volleyball tourney hosted by Potter County in Gettysburg last Saturday. Ipswich was able to come away with one win and three losses in their four matches.     The Yellowstone Trail Conference cross country meet was held Wednesday, Oct. 4 in Gettysburg. North Central placed second in both the YTC varsity standings.
