    Edmunds County hosted a Retirement Party for Auditor Keith Schurr on Dec. 17. Schurr started with Edmunds County in 1989 as Deputy Auditor and took office as Auditor in February 1995, serving 7.5 terms. Keith's last day is January 3, 2025. Dionne Olson who has been Deputy Auditor since December 2014 has been appointed as Auditor.     Alice Dosch passed away on December 18, 2024 at Spearfish Canyon Health Care in Spearfish. Alice was born April 18, 1930 to Alonzo C. Davis and Mary E. (Adams) Davis in Santa Anna, California. Alice moved to South Dakota with her family in 1962 and raised her six children here. She lived in Bridgewater, Salem, Ipswich and Aberdeen before moving to Spearfish after the death of her husband, Pat Dosch, in 2014.
