    Miss Ipswich Aleah Steger was crowned the 2019 South Dakota Snow Queen on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 in the Aberdeen Civic Theater. The IHS senior will have a year of many travels and appearances.     Optometrist Melanie Weiss will share her powerful message of hope and recovery in the Ipswich School Theater on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at 7 p.m. Weiss said she had three surgeries in three years.     Records are made to be broken and the Ipswich School school record for single-game treys was shattered by Halle Heinz during a 67-48 Lake Region Conference girls' high school basketball win over Northwestern here last Tuesday. Altogether Halle netted five of those treys in the opening quarter, helping create a 17-12 Lady Tigers' first-quarter edge.
