    A group from the South Dakota Army National Guard's 147th Army Band, based out of Mitchell, is performing in the Ipswich School Theatre on Friday, Feb. 11 at 10:15 a.m. One of their smaller music performance teams is on a school tour. The 147th Army Band’s country/classic rock band called Drive On is performing in Ipswich.     Gerold Beck, 79, of Sioux Falls, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. A Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at St. Michael Parish with burial at St. Michael Cemetery. Gerold James Beck was born on July 24, 1942, to Fred and Katie (Schick) Beck. Katie did not have the benefit of a hospital, but instead delivered Gerold in the family farmhouse north of Java.     The Ipswich/Bowdle wrestlers competed on January 29 at the Groton Wrestling Tournament. Brady Unser won the 113 pound division, earning 24 team points.
