    Edmunds County Conservation District Annual Soil Health Clinic held February 4, 2019 at the Ipswich School Theater was a great event. The evening started off with supper catered by Tilly of Heier’ s Grocery in Hosmer.     University of South Dakota senior Ethan Fenchel and sophomore Macy Heinz broke program records in their respective events on Friday afternoon at the Nebraska Tune-Up inside the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Heinz clocked 1:32.71 for 600 meters, which just edged out a seven-year-old record held by fellow South Dakota native Emma (Erickson) Ladwig. Ashlee was recently chosen to receive a 'Build Dakota Scholarship' to attend Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown. This scholarship will pay for her entire college tuition and also guarantees her a job in the nursing field upon completion on her degree.     Junior Carter Heinz, 20-11, will again represent Ipswich/Leola/ Bowdle (I-L-B) at the State B wrestling tournament on February 22-23 in Rapid City.
