  • Fiddlin' Around

    -deg|Mar 2, 2022

Ipswich/Bowdle scored nine team points in the State B Wrestling standings in Sioux Falls last weekend. The Tigers were led by Tanner Frickson, a sixth place finisher and Brady Unser also scored a point. Kadyn Weisser also wrestled for I/B there but did not place. So the post-season is now well underway even with those initial girls basketball region results delayed by the storm last week. And we’ll hope any nasty weather holds off. There were probably an upset or two in the girls’ regional tourneys. This week the boys region is underway. And...

From the Ipswich Tribune April 5, 1928 edition JEFFERSON FOUND HIS LETTER WRITING A BURDEN Thomas Jefferson liked to write letters and to receive them, but the burden became almost unendurable. Yet, writing civilly, it is hard to refuse them civil answers. This is the burden of my lif...

Leola/Frederick made a short trip down to Ipswich on Friday, Feb. 25 and came away with a 39-31 upset victory over the Tigers. But there are really no upsets in Lake Region Conference league play, particularly when those two rival teams take the floor. Defense was the name of Friday's game with each team managing a 5-5 tie in the opening quarter. The second quarter resulted in a 14-12 advantage for the visitors, despite a five-point mini run by the Tigers, consisting of a Taylor Thorson rebound...
