    A benefit for Brandon Malsam is planned on Sunday, March 13 in the Roscoe Legion. Bingo will begin at 1:30 p.m. Four rounds will be played with five games in each round. You can join at the start of any round.     Scott Moore of Ipswich has announced that he plans to run on the Republican ticket for South Dakota House of Representative for District 23. District 23 includes Hand, Faulk, Edmunds, McPherson, Potter, Walworth, Campbell Counties. The primary election is June 7, 2022.     IHS seventh grade musician, Anna Nierman, was chosen to play in the South Dakota Middle School All-State Band March 4-5 in Mitchell. Anna played Alto Sax in the 2022 Festival Band. The South Dakota Music Education Association (SDMEA) held auditions and chose middle school musicians to be in the 2022 Festival and Honor Bands.     The South Dakota Bandmasters Association has honored the late Dr. Duane Niles, Jr., a 43-year band director and music educator by posthumously inducting him into the South Dakota Bandmasters Hall of Fame.
