    The Edmunds County Shooting Sports held their first postal. Shooting a qualifying score enables the shooter to participate in the State Shoot in Ft. Pierre on April 22-24. Twenty BB Gun shooters showed their skills in standing, kneeling, sitting, and prone positions. There were also five air pistol shoots and 18 archers that shot the postal. BB Gun members are coached by Joe Galbraith, air pistol by Doug Wittmeier, and archery is coached by Jim Kanable.     Ipswich dropped a 51-34 SoDak 16 boys' high school basketball outcome to Aberdeen Christian in a game that was played in the Aberdeen Central gym last Tuesday.
