The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will begin construction on U.S. Highway 12 from Aberdeen to Ipswich on Monday, April 11, 2022. The project consists of modifying intersections, constructing passing lanes, bridge end approach slabs and pavement, lighting, and guardrail. The construction operations will reduce traffic to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction. 6 Legislative Session Wrap-up The 97th State Legislative Session is officially wrapped up! Veto day was March 28, and it resulted in no Governor veto overrides. This year, we had a very high volume of bills, 553 policy bills, and 246 of them passed. The Governor vetoed four of those legislative passed bills. Each year students are chosen to be the waiters at the Banquet prior to the 2022 IHS Prom on April 2. This year six freshmen were chosen by the junior class.
