To encourage all of us hearts are showing up in many windows and doorways. Mandy Gill of Bismarck, N.D. started the #aworldofhearts Facebook page as a way to show support for all of us. The page boosts members from all across the country, who post pictures of the hearts. This window can be seen in Ipswich. Feeding SD is scheduled to return to Ipswich on April 28 at 11 a.m. There will be a change in how things will be done. Those coming for food will remain in their cars and receive their food via drive-through service. A volunteer will come to your car to get the necessary information and you will then proceed by the food truck for your box of food to be loaded. But we could mention that our area conferences, the LRC and the YTC, were well represented in the Class B Boys All-State basketball team that was recently announced. Members of the Ipswich City Council met in special session on April 1, 2020 to discuss COVID-19. They met online via teleconference. On March 21, 2020 Delores (Dee) Harrison went home to heaven in the arms of the angels. Delores (Dee) Eve Harrison was born on October 24, 1928 in Ipswich to John and Katherine Dosch. She was raised there on a farm with her two brothers and three sisters. She married Emil Hettick on Nov. 27, 1947. Emil and Dee had six children together. The family moved to Missoula, Mont. in 1958. Delores Kumpf, 86, passed away on March 30, 2020. Delores was born September 11, 1933 at home in Long Lake to Adam and Katherine Kappes. She married Robert Hieb on July 19, 1953 in Long Lake. They farmed east of Roscoe for 25 years and raised four children. Robert passed away June 14, 1995. Delores moved to Aberdeen and married Melvin (Bud) Kumpf. Bud passed away on January 13, 2002. Delores worked as a cook at Primrose Apartments in Aberdeen for many years. She loved to garden and spend time...
