The Ipswich Elementary Concert will be held on April 29. There will be a 2:15 p.m. matinee and a 7 p.m. performance. The concert will begin with a performance by the fourth and fifth grade band doing their contest music. Ipswich placed two boys and one girl on their respective Aberdeen American News All-Area teams. The girl would obviously be senior All-Stater Halle Heinz, averaging 20 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game and 4.5 assists per game, showing her versatility on the court. Ipswich attended a high school golf triangular in Faulkton on April 16. It was nine holes instead of 18. On the boys' side of things, Luke Peterson tied for second with a 40 and Chet Peterson was next with a 42, for fourth place, according to Coach Matt Pollock. The third IHS scorer was Jace Konsor with a 50. Six other Tiger boys participated that day. The Tiger boys as a team were able to finish second behind Faulkton. The third team was Potter County. Ipswich was able to attend a high school track and field meet at Gettysburg in improving weather conditions last Saturday and will then host the Tiger Relays on April 24. The Ipswich boys again placed second to Mobridge-Pollock with 135 IHS team points, narrowly trailing their M-P Tiger counterparts who rang up 140.5 points. The Ipswich girls were third in their events with 90 total points, trailing Wolsey-Wessington's 109 and Mobridge-Pollock's 105.
