    The Wily Wizards 4H Club will once again host an amazing race on Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m. This family friendly activity is for teams of three or four with one person from each team completing the challenge developed by local businesses. Travel will be by bike or foot and the length of the course will be determined by the businesses that sign up to host a challenge.     A small business workshop will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at the First State Bank of Roscoe, 202 N. Mitchell St., Roscoe.     With the completion of all the SDHSAA winter fine arts and athletic activities, the SDHSAA announces that 546 teams have received the “Academic Achievement Team Awards” for the 2018-2019 Winter Season. All varsity fine arts groups and athletic teams that achieve a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible to receive the SDHSAA Academic Achievement Team Award.     The Marcus P. Beebe Memorial Library will host its first Art Exhibition, at the Library located at 120 Main Street, Ipswich in June of 2019.     Ipswich graduate and USD sophomore Macy Heinz crossed the finish line in 2:10.32 to win the college women’s 800-meter run during the Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls this past weekend.     Ipswich attended two high school golf meets last week, starting with the Lake Region Conference high school golf invite in Aberdeen last Tuesday, where IHS came away with a boys' varsity team win, led by Luke Peterson's individual title. He carded an 80, five strokes better than runner-up Andrew Rohrbach of Aberdeen Christian. There were four conference teams on the boys' side and the Tigers defeated second-place Faulkton Area by 14 strokes, 261 to 275.     Local athletes competed in the Special Olympics Area Track Meet held in Watertown on Friday, May 3. It was a successful day for Tucker Green, Johnathan Kamps, Isaiah Goetz, Teagan Cody, Royce Iverson, Casey Gilborne, Cash Henderson and Coy Stager.
