The Edmunds Central golfers competed in the Yellowstone Trail Conference meet on May 1. The EC boys lost the team championship by one stroke on the first playoff hole. “Even though we came up little short, this was a good learning experience and pressure situation that may benefit us in the future,” said coach David Hettick. The Rolling Hills Golf Course hosted the Lake Region Conference golf meet last Thursday. The Ipswich girls finished second just behind Faulkton. Rylee Kleffman carded a 104, which placed her third. Ipswich track and field athletes competed in the Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls May 3 and 4,. The Ipswich boys won a pair of relays in the Class B division. IHS boys won the 4x100 Relay at 44.33. Team members were Kyle Hettich, Maxwell Kulesa, Casey Geditz and Trevor Heinz.
