    Tessa Kilber has been named the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen candidate for Ipswich High School this year. She was among a list of senior nominees selected by the high school faculty and then voted upon by the senior class. Qualifications for the award are based on four areas: dependibility, service, leadership, and patriotism in family, school and community.     Awards were presented to the band and vocal music students during the 2019-2020 school year. An Award of Appreciation was presented to Jayna Sanborn, in appreciation of her four years of outanding support and dedication to the Ipswich Music Department.   • Kilber wins International P.E.O. STAR Scholarship

    Tessa Kilber was a winner of the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship, as well as the local Chapter BB P.E.O. Scholarship. The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship was established in 2009 by the International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Through April 30, 2020, scholarships totaling $12.8 million have been awarded to 5,142 young women. The STAR Scholarship is a non-renewable $2,500 scholarship for graduating high school senior women which must be used in the academic year following graduation.
