This was one State B track and field meet that probably didn't require the 4x400 results in either the girls or boys outcomes last weekend in Sioux Falls. And how about the LRC, the girls from Northwestern were second only to Colman-Egan 99 to 48 and a LRC boys member Ipswich was able to finish second only to Chester Area 86 to 45. I would think that the Colman-Egan girls and Chester Area boys were probably both favored to win their respective divisions and they would do exactly that. And I'm guessing that since the Chester Area girls were...

From the Ipswich Tribune January 10, 1929 edition READER'S COLUMN As Ipswich is becoming quite favorably know for its civic pride, as evidenced by the arch over the Trail, the swimming pool and its trees, shrubs and well kept lawns, it seems to me that if they care to maintain that reputation there is nothing they could do that would merit more praise than to take some steps to provide for the care and protection of the cemetery. As the state highway No. 45 passes it and many from a distance pass that way, I often wonder if when they see weeds...
