The Feeding South Dakota Mobile Food Pantry will return to Edmunds County on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Edmunds County 4-H Building in Ipswich. They will continue to implement an electronic check-in process for all guests served at the food distributions across the state. Proxy pick-ups are not allowed at the mobile distributions. The South Dakota Department of Transportation says the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad Company will begin railroad crossing repair work on S.D. Highway 45 in Ipswich today, June 2, 2021. One of the annual goals of Ipswich's storied high school girls and boys track and field program under head coach Todd Thorson would be the combined girls and boys championship at the state meet.
