The Feeding South Dakota Mobile Food Pantry will return to Edmunds County soon. The Food Pantry will be in Ipswich Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Edmunds County 4-H Building. The Food Pantry will be in Bowdle on Thursday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Proxy pickups are allowed. The building that was used as Hosmer City Hall for many years was torn down last weekend. The building was built in 1930. Bonds were sold for $3,500 to finance part of the new hall. It was used for city meetings, fire department meetings and even wedding receptions and church suppers. Repairs were done in the 1960's to the building.
