Weather issues plagued Trail Days 2019. The parade in the morning was dry, but then rain started when it was done and didn't stop until it was concert time. There were plenty of activities downtown including Arts in the Park, bandshell entertainment provided by Quip from Aberdeen, and pony rides. The Bulls and Broncs was delayed by heavy rain. Intermittent light rain showers started right after the Trail Days parade in Ipswich last Saturday and continued on and off all day, depending greatly on your location. But they definitely converged onto the Trail Days Arena grounds for a late afternoon sudden thunder-boomer with brief heavy rain. The Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days are scheduled for July 31-August 2. This year’s theme is “Splashing Into 4-H!” The three days will begin with the Dog Show on Wednesday, July 31 starting at 8 a.m. at the 4-H Building followed by the Cat Show.
