    Edmunds County Republicans elected Jonathan Waldner Sheriff on Tuesday, June 7 - Primary Election Day. Several races were decided on the Republican ballot. District 23 Republicans re-elected Bryan Breitling State Senator. Scott Moore and James Wangsness were elected State Representatives. They do not face competition in the General Election in November.     Wow! Have we been having some storms around the area lately. For instance early Tuesday morning a thunderstorm moved through the area, causing a limited outage in the north side of Ipswich after having caused some tree and structural damage in the Roscoe area. But the outage was in our home neighborhood and we didn't realize that the office still had power. So we were pleased to be able to continue publishing the papers as usual on Tuesday, while the MDU guys would hopefully get our house up and running with electricity. Then enjoy Trail Days...

Davis is focused on providing the tools and environment the staff and administration need to provide a high-quality education to the students of our community.     The Ipswich boys golf team was tied for fifth place after the State B was played June 6 and 7 in Rapid City. The tournament was plagued with inclement weather during the tourney played at the Elks Golf Course in Rapid City. Gregory won the boys division with Garretson second.
