  • Blood Drive brings 31 volunteers

    Ipswich Community hosted a blood drive with Vitalant, formerly United Blood Services, on June 13 at Holy Cross Catholic Church parish center which helped collect a total of 35 units of blood products for patients in need. A total of 31 individuals volunteered to donate blood and 28 individuals were able to donate at the Vitalant blood drive on June 13. A total of eight donors also came forward to donate Power Red Cells (2RBC) which collects two units of red blood cells while returning platelets, plasma and a saline solution back to the donor....

    Last Saturday was a great day to stay in Ipswich and stay close to an air conditioner. Like Saturday, I'm seeing things weatherwise from time to time that kinda makes you wonder. The climate does seem to be gyrating out of control, giving us wild temperature and precipitation swings, especially for those who live along waterways from a tiny creek to an ocean.     The Edmunds County 4-H Horse Show was held on Wednesday, June 26 at the Yellowstone Trail Complex in Ipswich. The 12 participants were from Edmunds, Campbell, Faulk, Walworth, and Brown counties. Edmunds County participants were Jalyssa Hutson, Jailey Hutson, Quincy Olivier, Jacey Rossow, and Karlie Weisser. Champion Showman from Edmunds County was Junior Jailey Hutson.
