    Gibson Publishing has decided to combine our two newspapers that will serve Mina, Ipswich, Roscoe and Hosmer. The cost of printing and mailing the two newspapers has been increasing. The new Edmunds County Tribune will still be the same product, with stories about local residents, sports and legal notices.   • Feeding SD Mobile Food Pantry coming next week

    The Feeding South Dakota Mobile Food Pantry will return to Edmunds County soon. The Food Pantry will be in Ipswich Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Edmunds County 4-H Building. The Food Pantry will be in Bowdle on Friday, July 14 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Proxy pickups are allowed. Complete the SD Feeding form and give it to your proxy to bring with to the food distribution.     The Kens/Lux Candle men’s 14” softball team continue to remain on top of the league standings. The guys are currently undefeated with a 12-0 record. The past three weeks scores: Kens/Lux over Scared Hitless 26-11 and 16-1; Kens/Lux over Dakota Surveillance 13-12 and 25-15; and Kens/Lux over Splitters 14-4 and 18-10. There were no games July 3 due to Independence Day holiday. They will play again July 10 in Aberdeen....
