    The Marcus P. Beebe Memorial Library will be hosting the Storybook Land Theater in the Ipswich Bandshell on Tuesday, August 3 at 3 p.m. They will be presenting “Dear Edwina”.     The Northeast Area Special Olympics Spring Track Meet was held in Hayti on May 20, 2021. Due to Covid restrictions, the athletes received their ribbons in the mail so a ceremony was held at a later date. The Ipswich Tiger team athletes received several ribbons.     “4-H Through the Decades” is the slogan for the 2021 Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days on August 4 - 6. Mark your calendars and plan on stopping by to see the accomplishment of our youth. Activities take place at the 4-H Grounds in Ipswich. Wednesday morning starts off the three days with the Dog Show starting at 8 a.m. followed by the Cat Show.     We noticed that the moon had sort of a reddish tinge Monday evening and it wasn't even quite full yet. There are of course a number of reason why this would be true, including dust/ smoke in the air or several different pollens as well, like ragweed and mold. These allergy (hay fever) symptoms are noticeably much worse during a drought. Hopefully we will get some relief, because rain and even a real heavy dew help to dissolve and wash those pollens away. So there are indeed several obvious reasons we could use the moisture, but hopefully not...
