    The Ipswich United Church Christ has been raising funds to restore their stained glass windows. Last week workers were here to get that work done. Staff members from Willet Hauser Architectual Glass of Winona, Minn. restored the church's stained glass. Project manager Jonathan said the first step was removing the old yellowing flexiglass covering the windows. Then they are examined for necessary repairs.     The Marcus P. Beebe Memorial Library will be hosting the Storybook Land Theater in the Ipswich Bandshell on Tuesday, August 3 at 3 p.m. They will be presenting “Dear Edwina”. This event is free to the public. DEAR EDWINA is a heartwarming musical about the joys of growing up. The book and lyrics were written by Marcy Heisler, with the music by Zina Goldrich.   • Ipswich Lions Club donated to ambulance fund

    The Ipswich Lions Club recently made a $5,000 donation to the Ipswich Ambulance Service to help with the purchase of a power cot for the new ambulance on order for the Ambulance Service. The Ipswich Lions Club usually meets the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the U.C.C. Church Fellowship Hall.
