Ipswich City has been planning a new city park in the area of the Ipswich Swimming Pool and north of the 4-H Achievement Days facility. The park, designed by Stockwell Engineers Inc. in Sioux Falls, will be done in several phases. Saturday, August 1 is the day, with sale hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Commercial Club members decided to hold the annual event later this summer due to the coronavirus. The Edmunds Central Class of 2021 will have a 5K Color Run/Walk on Saturday, August 1. Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the Roscoe City Park. The run/walk starts at 9 a.m. with staggered starts to allow for social distancing. A pork loin meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the park.
