The Richland Church will kick off their Wednesday Fall Family Night Ministries on Wednesday, September 4 at 7pm. A portion of the South Dakota 4-H Performing Arts Troupe did musical numbers from their show in the Brown Co. Fair on Sunday. The full cast will perform at the State Fair on Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1. The cast rehearsed the show June 9-15 in the NSU campus in Aberdeen. The summer dance students of Ashley Geist-Cusick will present a free recital for the public on Sunday, August 25 at 7:30 pm in the Ipswich High School Theater. They include sheep, swine, beef, rabbit, goat, dog, horticulture, and consumer decision making. Judging classes consist of similar items which must be placed in order from the best to worst based on given criteria. Some classes include the giving of reasons why they placed the items in that order.
