    The Roscoe Board of Trustees has made plans to build a new City Hall. The building should be completed by the first of the year. Work should begin soon. The new City Hall, designed by HKG Architects of Aberdeen, will be built just north of the present City Hall where Sahli's Red Owl was.   • Benefit Saturday for injured Hosmer man includes meal

    A benefit is planned for John Meuwissen of Hosmer on August 24 in the Hosmer City Liquor. John was injured in a farm accident this spring. The benefit is being held to help offset ongoing medical expenses associated with injuries sustained in the accident. He suffered a broken back, broken ribs, broken sternum and a fractured shoulder blade. He is the co-owner of the Hosmer Meat Market. The event will begin with a Bean Bag Tournament.     Members of the Ipswich Lions Club will be offering free vision screening for local school children. Vision screening will be offered in the Ipswich School September 9 and 10 and Wednesday, September 11 screening will be done at Edmunds Central School in Roscoe. Free vision screening will also be offered for children at Deerfield, Pembrook and Plainview Colonies and Boulder Colony in Hosmer.
