    The membership of the Ipsodak Chapter of the National Honor Society at Ipswich High School now stands at 22 after the induction of seven new members at last Tuesday's Induction Ceremony in the Ipswich School Theater. Alphabetically the new members are Grace Beyers, Mckenzie Evans, Tessa Kilber, Jordan Richardt, Jayna Sanborn, Lexi Stafford and Avery Sylte.     The weatherman did not listen to the old show tune. It was a cold, rainy Gypsy Day on Saturday. Despite that, many marching bands shared their talent, including the Ipswich marching band.     The Cloverbud Open House was held on Sunday Sept. 30 at the 4-H Building in Ipswich. The meeting started with members making Halloween crafts. Following craft time a pizza supper was enjoyed by all. After supper the members finished up their crafts and played games led by Jailey Hutson, Karlie Gohl, and Ava Davis.     The funeral service for Bernice Deibert, 85, of Ipswich was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at Richland Church, rural Mina. Pastor Ron Wickard led the service. Interment will be at a later date. Bernice was born Sept. 2, 1933 in Campbell County to Fred and Lydia (Singer) Beck. She grew up on the family farm and in her young adult years worked as a nurse's aide. In March of 1956, she married Wilmer Deibert. They moved to Ipswich in 1970.     Memorial service for Dean C. Lehr, 67, of Aberdeen was at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory, Aberdeen. Pastor Mary Lou Gruebele officiated. Inurnment will be in Morningside Cemetery, Roscoe, at a later date. Dean died September 25, 2018 at his home. Dean Curtis Lehr, son of Elmer and Martha (Pietz) Lehr was born June 28, 1951 at Ipswich.     Ipswich-Edmunds Central played host to a non-conference foe, Kimball-White Lake, on Senior Night last Friday, honoring the Tiger seniors and their parents.     The Ipswich Lady Tiger volleyball team earned a pair of wins in two recent appearances. The Lady Tigers edged Edmunds Central 3-1 last Thursday in Roscoe and then topped Eureka/Bowdle 3-1 on Monday in the Tiger Den. That was a Lake Region Conference affair.
