The Feeding South Dakota Mobile Food Pantry will return to Edmunds County on two days. The Food Pantry will be in Ipswich on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Edmunds County 4-H Building. The Food Pantry will return on Friday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowdle. Ralph Louis Gibbs was born June 22, 1945 to John and Clara Gibbs in Galesburg, IL. He was raised there and graduated from Galesburg High School. Ralph then attended Knox College where he attained a Bachelor's Degree in accounting. After college, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served for four years. Ipswich made the short high school volleyball trip over to Roscoe vs. the North Central Thunder on Monday evening, Sept. 27, which resulted in a 3-0 LRC league win by the Tigers.
