The 2020 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3 in all the voting precincts in Edmunds County. The election polls will be open from seven a.m. to seven p.m. Many county voters have already filled out their ballot. Edmunds County Auditor Keith Schurr said, “We are at 600 absentees today (Oct. 27), of 2,670 registered voters in the county.” He said the previous high was 476 absentee ballots in the 2004 General Election. The Feeding SD Mobile Food Pantry will visit Edmunds County on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The Ipswich event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 3 is Election Day, so the Ipswich collection will have a new route. They will be giving the food away by the pool. They would like people to turn north by Heier’s Body Shop and head west toward the pool.
