    Edmunds County voters turned out for the 2020 election. The total county turnout was 75.21%. Precinct 6, the Hosmer area, had the best turnout - 83.33%, followed by the Mina area with 81.59%. Bryan Breitling, a local area native, was elected as a District 23 Senator. He had 1,679 votes in Edmunds County and 9,519 votes in District 23. Breitlings competition, CJ Abernathey had 1,110 votes.   • Toys for Tots collection at John Sieh Agency office

    John Sieh Agency in Ipswich is collecting new, unused toys for the Toys for Tots program. There is a box in the office for drop offs until Dec. 12. Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to children during each Christmas holiday season. Each year, the Marine Corps fulfills the holiday hopes and dreams of an average of 7 million less fortunate children in nearly 800 communities nationwide.     A Thanksgiving Praise and Prayer Service is planned on Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Holy Cross Church gym in Ipswich at 1:30 p.m. Sanitizer and masks will be provided at the socially distanced prayer service.
