    "A Magical Medora Christmas" was presented in the Ipswich School Theater on Sunday, Nov. 24. A large crowd enjoyed the musical treat sponsored by the Ipswich American Legion. Bill Sorensen was the emcee for the musical entertainment. He also shared magic. Musical artists were Chad Willow, Job Christenson, Emily Walter and Jared Mason. They are touring until Dec. 22.     IHS Senior Ben Kulesa presented the money raised by the students for Mike Williams. A Benefit will be Friday, Nov. 30 in Father Bormann Hall. The evening begins at 5 p.m. and will include a pork loin supper and auctions. Winning the school fundraiser were the Seniors and junior Kindergarten and the pre-school.     The Feeding South Dakota Mobile Food Pantry will return to Edmunds County on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Edmunds County 4-H Building in Ipswich.     Olivia (Livi) Singer, almost 84, of Renton, Wash. went to her Eternal Home on November 14, 2018. Olivia was born and lived most of her life in South Dakota. Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. on Nov. 21, 2018 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Kent, Wash. with Pastor Kirk Hulvey officiating. George was born on October 26, 1950 to Adeline "Lena" (Walth) and Milbert Mohr. All his life, George has been a staple in the small community of Hosmer. He and Mary Jo Heier were married on January 5, 1974.     Ipswich/Edmunds Central's Carter Heinz, a junior, was named to the South Dakota Class 9A All-State football team as a defensive tackle. Senior Daniel Braun was also named an honorable mention on the All-State listing. Regarding Heinz, I-EC coach Brian Hogie commented "Carter put a lot of time in the weight room this off-season and it really showed up on the football field.     Ipswich/Leola/Bowdle attended a JV wrestling event in Faulkton on Monday. The actual varsity schedule begins with a December 1 trip to a Stanley County meet. There will be a Jan. 10, 2019 home quad. in Ipswich, plus the LRC meet hosted at Leola on Jan. 31. (And there will be a JV/MS tourney-style meet on Jan. 28 here.)
