    The Edmunds Central PAC Fall F.O.C.U.S. Showcase will be held on Thursday, December 5 from 5-7 p.m. It is held in conjunction with the Student Council Chili Cook-Off in the school commons at 5 p.m. The public is invited to stop and see what the Fall F.O.C.U.S students have worked on in this semester's classes. Live demonstrations will be held for YOGA and Cooking throughout the evening and the Youth Theater class will perform a short reader's theatre play at 5:25 p.m., 6 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. on the stage in the fine arts gymnasium.   • Loken found guilty in trial

    The trial for Jeromy Loken of Ipswich was held in the McPherson County Courthouse in Leola beginning on Nov. 18, 2024. He was found guilty on Nov. 20 of sexual exploitation of a minor by a person in a position of authority and sexual contact with a minor. He was acquitted of the rape charge. He will not be sentenced until after the pre-sentence investigation is finished....
