    The Ipswich Volunteer Fire Department received a $5,000 grant from Northern Border Pipeline. Ipswich Fire Dept. member Tracy Hutson said the funds will be used for radio upgrades and a gas meter. The grant was presented by Tim Durant of Northern Border Pipeline....

    More than 50 Christmas trees can be found on three floors of the Edmunds County Courthouse. Local individuals and groups have decorated trees of all colors and sizes. View the beautiful trees before January 4, 2019. The Courthouse is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The display is sponsored by the Wily Wizards 4-H Club.   • I/L/B wrestlers place in Faulkton

    Ipswich/Leola/Bowdle (ILB) participated in a high school wrestling tourney at Faulkton last Saturday. The Tigers placed 13th among 16 teams with a team total of 23 points. Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes edged Oakes 201-184 for the team-score bragging rights. The ILB contingent was led by Tanner Fricksen at 120 with 12 team points on the way to a fifth-place finish. The Tigers' remaining scorer was Carter Heinz at 182, who also placed fifth and totaled 11 team points. The next scheduled outing...
