    Nominations are being taken for the 2024 Ipswich Betterment Award. At their last meeting members of the Ipswich Commercial Club voted to also look for nominees for an award for young residents. The Ipswich Rising Star seeks to honor residents younger than 40 years. Both awards look to recognised Ipswich residents for achievements. The 2023 Ipswich Betterment Award was given to Vaughn Beck.     Ipswich and North Central met for a doubleheader in the Edmunds Central gym in Roscoe on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Ipswich got the wins in this DH. They meet again in January in Ipswich.
