Looking back at Ipswich High School sports since 2000, Marv Seyer has written a new book. He wrote “100 Years of Ipswich High School Sports” in 2000. He has written an update to that book, “The Prosperous Years 2000-2024.” Seyer called these the prosperous years because of the IHS athletic accomplishments since 2000, including 42 state trophies and plaques (16 championships). “I feel the achievements of this group of students have to be recognized,” Seyer said. The high school varsity volleyball begins this week. IPSWICH The Ipswich volleyball season began yesterday, Aug. 27 when the Tigers traveled to Highmore-Harrold. Trent Osborne will again lead the team with Laura Ochsner assisting him. There are 15 girls on the varsity team with four seniors — Rylee Kleffman, Jaydin Stiles, Reaghan Bowers and Kaylin Onken.
