The Tiger girls would end up with a 43-29 scoring edge. But SBA had actually led 7-6 in a defensive-minded opening quarter. However the IHS girls would then own a 20-14 halftime edge and would outscore their visitors 13-6 in the third quarter to gain even more separation going into the final stanza. (Ipswich's largest lead would be by 23 points in the last quarter.) Two reasons were Katie Bierman with a...

Meanwhile the Chargers lived up to their name vs. Ipswich charging ahead 20-12 at the first quarter break. And things didn't get a whole lot better for the Tiger facing a 34-19 deficit at intermission as they were doubled 14-7 during that stanza. The Chargers would then...

  • Patriots stop Tigers on the road

    -deg|Feb 22, 2023

Ipswich had narrowly won the opening quarter 11-9 and expanded that to a 27-19 halftime edge. So this was sort of a classic case of a tale of two halves. They indeed closed to within four points, 32-28, with a quarter to play and would then hold Ipswich to only four points in that dec...
