Ipswich edged Sully Buttes 3-1 in non-conference high school varsity volleyball action at Sully Buttes last Tuesday. The match opened with 25-17 victory for Ipswich that was capped by a set-point service error on Sully Buttes. The Tiger girls were defeated in straight sets 25-14, 25-15, 25-12 by a Lake Region Conference opponent Aberdeen Christian. They split up their entrants there so as to obtain more experience against runners from all the different divisions that ranged from high school varsity down to the middle-school divisions.
