Trail Days 2022 headliner Aaron Watson had been working through some vocal cord issues this past month in order to be ready for our show. Unfortunately he is going to need a little more rest before he can hit the road again so he will be unable to perform this year. Wow! Have we been having some storms around the area lately. For instance early Tuesday morning a thunderstorm moved through the area, causing a limited outage in the north side of Ipswich after having caused some tree and structural damage in the Roscoe area. But the outage was in our home neighborhood and we didn't realize that the office still had power. So we were pleased to be able to continue publishing the papers as usual on Tuesday, while the MDU guys would hopefully get our house up and running with electricity. Then enjoy Trail Days...

Did you wake up to the sound of raindrops on the window Tuesday morning. I think I did, but it was so unusual that I'm not sure. Maybe somebody was spraying a house in the neighborhood with a pressure washer and some of it escaped. But we'll definitely take that rain, it was a good start in the right direction. The Edmunds County Horse Show will be held on Wednesday, June 30 at the Trail Days Complex. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with the show starting at 9:30 a.m. with showmanship. This will be followed by various riding and timed events.
