    The Annual Powell Church Service in Ipswich Pioneer Village was held on Sunday, September 15. The service was attended by former Powell Church members and friends. Memories of Powell was recollected by Leann Fredrickson of Aberdeen and Bob Wagner of Ipswich. Bob Pond read a letter from Sally Freeman Ortez, a former Pastor's daughter. County Treasurer Nehl has 2000 of them stacked up in his office waiting distribution. Gilbert Jones was the first person in Edmunds County to resister his car, therefore he received number 23-1000. The theft was committed last Thursday. Russel worked for Harris and while he was absent from home took the $330 which was in $10 and $20 bills and the bay horse. He started east.
