Morgan Trefz is a new Natural Resource Specialist in the Ipswich Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) office. Trefz grew up near Onaka, helping work on the family farm. He attended the University of Minnesota Crookston, graduating with a degree in Natural Resources. "My wife and I recently moved back to the area and are excited to be here," Trefz said. Edmunds Central School will host a Veterans Day Remembrance Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Gymnasium. The program will feature musical selections by the EC Band and Choir, and student presentations and artwork. An Edmunds Central School District election is planned on November 7 in all voting precincts. The voters are asked to decide if the School District should dissolve the current district system and make each seat an "at-large" seat for which anyone living in the district would be eligible.
