On Sunday, November 10, senior Gabe Johnson ran in the Nike Heartland Regional Championship Cross Country Meet at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls. In the football battle of the Tigers on Halloween, the Howard Tigers were the most powerful. The Howard Tigers stopped the Ipswich Tigers 54-0 in Howard in the Class 9A State Quarterfinal.
