The future of Lady Tiger Basketball looks bright as the sixth grade girls' team captured another championship at the NSU Tournament, in Aberdeen, on Sunday, January 5. The Ipswich Knights of Columbus had their annual free throw competition on Dec. 14 in the Ipswich School Auxiliary Gym. Marv Seyer presented a copy of his book "The Prosperous Years of Ipswich High School Sports" to Lorie Heinz. The 2024 North Central Thunder basketball kickoff is planned on Saturday, Dec. 7 in the Edmunds Central School at 4 p.m. The event showcases the high school boys and girls basketball teams, along with the Jr. Thunder participants.
