The members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Roscoe invite you to join them on Sunday, September 9 at 4 p.m.
Pastor Glen Hieb, a Roscoe native, will be the guest preacher as the congregation and friends gather to give thanks to God and rejoice in 125 years of His grace.
St. Paul's Ladies' Aid will host a time of coffee, snacks and fellowship beginning at 3 p.m. in the church basement. A catered meal will be served at the Roscoe Legion Hall following the service with a freewill offering accepted.
St. Paul's congregation was established in 1893 while being served by Pastor Kiess from Mansfield. The first church was built in 1907. The current gothic style brick church was completed in 1928 during the pastorate of Rev. J.P. Scherf.

Pastor Hieb grew up on a farm near Roscoe where he attended school through eighth grade. He continued his education at the Lutheran Academy in Mobridge and then Northwestern College in Watertown, Wis. After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1980, Pastor Hieb served a congregation in Michigan for six years and as a missionary in Japan from 1986-2006. Since 2006, he serves Our Savior Lutheran Church in Strongsville, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. Pastor Hieb is married to Jackie and they have seven adult children.
