This is homecoming week in Ipswich and next week at Edmunds Central, so good luck in all your homecoming activities in both instances.
The IHS senior royalty crowned on Monday were Queen Kamryn Heinz and King Ben Kulesa. And Edmunds Central will reveal its own homecoming royalty identities during a coronation program on Sunday evening.
Of course that could mean a parade or two in the next couple of weeks. Or actually three, counting the NSU Gypsy Day parade! We hear drum cadences outside the back door of our office so I imagine that bands are busy practicing for that competition. Other than at maybe the Rose Bowl parade, I think that various bands are the most colorful and enjoyable to both hear and see!
But floats are also great because of the time spent erecting them and both the Ipswich and EC parades can always use more entrants!
