Halloween fun begins Sunday

Halloween fun and games will begin on October 28 and continue throughout the week.

The annual Children’s Halloween Festival is planned on Sunday, Oct. 28 in the Edmunds Central Auxiliary Gym in Roscoe. The festival is free and open to all ages from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be a parade of costumes and lots of fun games. There will be a bake sale with proceeds going to the Sanford Project.

The Ipswich Parent Teacher Partnership (PTP) will have their annual Halloween Carnival on Monday, Oct. 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the school gym. Children ages 0 to fifth grade are invited to attend. Each child will get eight free tickets when they walk through the door. More tickets will be sold for a small fee. There will be a variety of games to play, with the help of middle school volunteers. The FBLA will have a concession stand.

An invitation is also extended to all children aged 0 through fourth grade to Trick or Treat at Ipswich Care & Rehabilitation on Wednesday, October 31, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The residents will have treats to share will all the little ghosts and goblins.

The Ipswich Ambulance and Fire Department will have their Haunted Trail on Main Street Ipswich to scare you on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2 and 3.
