Fiddlin' Around

The holiday season officially got underway with a long Thanksgiving weekend, culminated by that sell-out Medora concert Sunday in the Ipswich School Theater, sponsored by the Ipswich American Legion post as a fundraiser. So many of us are probably still eating leftover turkey sandwiches but with various memories of the event still fresh in our memories.

November will close out with things like an Edmunds Central school play, the Friday local business promotion day in Roscoe and then the Mike Williams benefit also on Friday at the Father Bormann Hall in Ipswich just to name a few events.

Then the Christmas season will get into full swing with various area church and school concerts and the beginning of the indoor winter sports seasons. The Ipswich Hometown Holiday Weekend is scheduled for Dec. 6-8.

So it will indeed be the last month of the year and we can't believe how quickly it went by. And the sun still came up each morning after the midterm elections. And yes, the 2020 election season is for all practical purposes already underway, especially in the presidential primary races!
