Tiger Post plans progressings, your help is still needed

The Ipswich Tiger Post building and fundraising committee has been raising funds for the new Tiger Post building for several months.

The project is on schedule and should be ready around October 1, 2019. “We have to raise around $25,000 yet to meet our goal, but this project has gone extremely well,” said Mike Hammrich, a committee member.

The building and fundraising committee will have tiger paws on the wall inside the building to recognize anyone who has given $1,000 or more. If anyone is interested in having your name on a paw or contributing to the project contact any committee member. “Please remember no donation is too small,” said Hammrich. “We certainly appreciate each and every donation.”

From the beginning of the project they knew the importance of the Tiger Post in the community. It has served the area for 20 years and now they are seeing a second generation of children in the Tiger Post.

“The public and businesses that have contributed thus far have certainly been very generous and we can’t thank them enough,” Hammrich said.
