The Trail Days parade committee has chosen the theme for the 2019 parade — “A salute to the volunteer”. The parade will be held on Saturday morning, June 8, 2019.
The plan to honor all of the clubs and businesses that volunteer numerous hours to help make this area the great place it is. To name a few, and this list is not inclusive, all the churches, Lions Club, Athletic Boosters, golf club association, PEO, 4-H clubs, Commercial Club, Development Corporation, American Legion and Auxiliary, Scouts, Garden Club, historical society. Then of course there are all the volunteers who are on boards for the Library, Tiger Post, FEM, Valley, schools, and other organizations. The volunteers for the fire department, and those who train to be on our ambulance are dedicated to serving the surrounding area. They cannot forget to mention all the hours that the Trail Days volunteers put in to make Trail Days a great success. And the list goes on and on.
