The Marcus P. Beebe Memorial Library in Ipswich is starting a new reading program for ages birth to four years old, available to families with young children, caregivers, daycares, and grandparents.
It is not always easy to get the younger children to a library program and parents with younger children are left out as their older siblings participate in the regular Summer Reading Program.
The Ipswich Library has 10 book bags available to be checked out for a two-week period. Each bag contains a book and supplies for an activity. The activity is designed to be used for one to 10 children at a time.
The Library is open Tuesday thru Saturday, from 2 to 6 p.m. Contact Deb Gillick for more information, 605-216-2958.
