Ipswich participated in three Lake Region Conference boys' basketball games last week, beginning with a homecourt 55-39 Tuesday evening win over Northwestern Area.
In this outing the Tiger boys would jump ahead of Northwestern 22-10 after a quarter and their initial double-figure edge had proved to be a 14-4 advantage, thanks to a Maxwell Geditz trey.
Ipswich also led the second-quarter scoring outcome 16-15, while both teams came away with 11 points in the third stanza. But the Tigers cemented their victory with a 6-3 scoring edge in a defense-dominated final quarter.
