Members of the Ipswich High School Choir, under the direction of Charlene Blondo, had their debut jazz performance as the "Memory Makers" at the 47th annual University of Mary Jazz Festival in Bismarck, N.D. on February 1.
While there, vocal jazz and jazz band ensembles from around the region had the opportunity to observe other performances, attend performance clinics with professional jazz musicians, perform for critique, and partake in a private clinic with one of the guest musicians.
